With higher prices hitting consumers and more people needing help with grocery bills, food banks across Canada are struggling to keep up with demands.
That’s why CUPE 4653 members voted in October to donate $1000 to their local Salvation Army food bank.
The contribution will put food directly onto the shelves at Fort St. John’s best-known food bank just in time for their busiest time of the year.
